RRAS Forwarding Poland Sends Rollers and Backhoes to Australia - Squeaky Clean and Bug Free!
Our X2 Asia Global Member from Poland, RRAS Forwarding, moved an OOG project from Gdansk Poland to Sydney Australia for which they organized the transport, packing and preparation of special skids to transport the 4 rollers and 3 backhoes.
As the destination was Australia, further attention was required to ensure the goods arrived clean and free of the dreaded brown marmorated stink bug.
Prior to fumigation with sulfuryl fluoride to eliminate these unwanted passengers, the RRAS team had to meticulously clean the machines with water pressure equipment to remove all dirt.
The equipment used to move the package consisted of 1x 20ft open top, 1x 40ft open top, and 2x 40ft flat racks, and the total weight came to 32,700 kilos.
