Domax Logistics has successfully completed the export of fresh strawberries from Shanghai, China, to Jakarta, Indonesia, and Dubai, UAE, using air freight services.

The cargo was packed in foam boxes before being palletised to protect product quality throughout transit. While the aircraft cargo hold operated at ambient temperature, the shipment was maintained at 2 - 8°C during handling at both origin and destination warehouses. To preserve freshness, Domax prioritised direct flight connections where available and used dry ice or blue ice as part of the cold chain solution.

The shipment demonstrates the operational planning required for temperature-sensitive air cargo, where flight selection, handling procedures and temperature control are all critical to maintaining product quality from origin to destination.
