Fleet Line Shipping’s Speedy Oil Heater Shipment
Dubai based Fleet Line Shipping, a member of X2 Elite and X2 Projects, recently handled the shipment of an Oil Heater measuring 15 x 4.20 x 5.1 metres and weighing 30 tons.
The cargo was picked from Abu Dhabi, UAE on an EXW basis and taken to Jebel Ali port where it was loaded on a container ship for transport to its destination port of Mombasa, Kenya.
Fleet Line Shipping’s project operations team coordinated well with Jebel Ali port, local customs, and the vessel operator. The job was well executed with the placement of four 40 foot empty Flat Rack containers on board the container ship and then the cargo was loaded by shore crane.
The shipment concluded with a successful discharge at the Kenyan port of Mombasa in a record 9 days time from pick up date.
