Classified under UN 3171 and designated as Dangerous Goods Class 9, the shipment underscores growing international trade in sustainable and electric-powered municipal equipment. Authorities are closely monitoring the transport due to the hazardous nature of the cargo, which falls under miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles as per international shipping regulations.
DG Consolidation
A consolidated shipment containing hazardous materials classified under Class 6.1 (toxic substances) and Class 9 (miscellaneous dangerous goods) has departed from Shanghai, China, en route to Karachi, Pakistan. The cargo, grouped under Dangerous Goods (DG) consolidation protocols, highlights the critical importance of stringent handling and compliance measures in international logistics. Authorities have confirmed that all safety and regulatory procedures were adhered to during the consolidation and dispatch process to ensure safe transit of the mixed hazardous cargo.
